Default So Many Problems!

So, I've been reading the "C7 Reported issues and resolutions thread" and it's depressing! Does this car have more issues than other first year cars made in the past or is it just so easy to read about them on forums like this one? I'm hoping these issues are just normal first release bugs to be fixed at the factory later! I will say though, it does appear that most dealers are addressing these problems and that parts come pretty quickly from Bowling Green!

1532 miles...not a single problem! Not one!

And why in G-d's name is it necessary to start another thread like this?

NONE here NONE Vin 2560 . There are so many more buyers who are not on this forum. You don't hear from them, so it's hard to tell the true picture. If there is one major problem most of us have not found it.

I looked over the entire list and it didn't seem that bad to me.

There will be countless new threads discussing and asking about issues with the C7 from this day forward. Cars are not perfect and they never will be. It is the nature of the beast. The Internet is the perfect place to disciss and inquire about cars.

Thank you and well said!

I must also say that I am one of those who was just a little too late in getting an order in before the Z51 and exposed carbon fiber roof constraints came to be! I am not changing my mind on these options or to buy the car! I love sports cars but have never (except for a 2004 M3) owned one! I have always loved Porsche 911's and was hoping to buy one in the next year or two but the price of new one was too much for me to justify! I have always seen the Corvette as the best bang for the buck so when the C7 first appeared I was immediately interested! I am looking forward to driving one off the lot one day!

Agreed... but when threads on the topic already exist, creating more on the same topic seems to be just clutter

Besides, the OP was acknowledging beating a dead horse and said "sorry" so my comment was asking if he knows he's beating a dead horse then why create another thread?

So, seeing the flow of posts hopefully my response makes more sense given this isn't a thread on a specific problem and there are numerous "problem" threads

Would you really want to hear about every single airplane that lands safely? How about a text message for each one? (That'd be just 3,166 text messages an hour for planes here in the U.S. alone!)

If there were actually a ton of issues with the C7, this thread would be exploding with angry owners. What you're seeing is the hyping of small issues because a new car that GM touted to be "perfect from the factory" has some minor (and even in a few cases, major) issues.

There was a thread floating around here I'm going to dig up that had a poll of whether the car was perfect, had some minor issues, or was a lemon. There were FAR more cars that were not lemons and still lots more cars that were issue-free. I couldn't even imagine how bloated this forum would get if everyone posted a new thread for each and every day they drove their C7 and something didn't break. I'd say there'd be (on this forum alone) a good 7-8 pages of threads added every single day. That's a lot of threads. There'd be 7 threads started by me alone.
