Default Dirty Butt?

So, are C7's butts as prone to the station wagon effect as are C5's and (especially) C6s?

Actually, now that you mention it, no. The C6 would have dirt in the tail light indents after a short cruise, maybe the vents on the C7 blow it away??

Certainly there is an effect, but not sure how it compares to C6:

I notice on mine that there's a light powder coating of soot after each time I drive it. It's not terrible, but noticeable, especially since mine is AW. Certainly after a few days she's beggin me to rub her down

With the C6 it is like 50 ft or fifty miles, doesn't seem to make much difference. I'm hoping the vents of the C7 modify the air flow to eliminate most/all of the problem. When I drive through the neighborhood my car pickes up the neighbors grass clippings that they blow unto the street.

About a week ago, I went over the whole car including the black fascia in the back and underneath with Meguiar's QuikWax. It's easy spray on and wife off. It's so slippery now nothing hangs on it and seems to 'not' have static electricity. So far, so good.

Also bought a new California Duster. Now have one for both cars. But haven't had to use it in the back yet.

Before I had it completely detailed, my C7 was a horrific dust and dirt magnet. The rear end would get completely plastered with dirt - far, far worse than my C6 ever did. Now it doesn't pick up nearly as much dust as it did, and I'd say it's less than the C6.

I made 4 trips down the 1/4 mile when I got home I noticed the rearend was dirty and gritty. Turned out to be a combination of traction compound tire rubber and road sand etc. I had to use bug and tar remover to get it all cleaned up. This is a base model with the shorty spoiler so I don't know if the Z51 spoiler would make it better or worse.

Guess some Rejex on the butt (and over the clear bra I'm going to do on the nose) is gonna be the ticket
