Default Processing Option

Window Sticker says under OPTIONS - Processing Option - $12,960.

I'm a novice and just getting interested in getting my first corvette - What is Processing Option ??

Most likely it is just dealer markup. I'd look elsewhere to actually buy it. You might want to look at the big dealers on these forums, conti, etc. They move a ton of vettes and probably a lot more informed (and honest) than most.

I have seen the same with C7s listed on-line. The sticker showed destination charges, cost of a 3LT and processing options of about $12,960 like you mentioned.

It seems like you wouldn't get a 3LT without at least some other options that must be in that number. However, it is likely that some extra dealer profit is also buried in that number. Can you even get $13k in options beyond the 3LT cost?

When they don't itemize the options, you can bet that they are planning to stick it to you somewhere.

Was it a Laguna Blue Z51 with Brownstone Interior and chrome Turbo wheels?

That is how they bundle the cost of the Premier Edition. I have no idea why.

My understanding also. Was the total sticker 75K? Stingray center caps on wheels?
