May pull the trigger on a Z51 1LT this week but I'm confused about one thing. My Chevy dealer product rep. (the salesman) insists that the Z51
option itself provides for PTM. (performance traction management). I thought that to get PTM, you need to get MRC. (magnetic ride control).
Who's right? Can I live without PTM? The car I'm looking at has Z51 but no MRC.
Thanx.

Z51 (FE3) alone does not have PTM. PTM is included as a feature of the MSRC option($1795). The Z51 option ($2800) is required in order to opt in for the (FE4) MSRC w/ PTM option.
Only you (driving habits and intended use) can really decide if you need FE3 and FE4 suspensions.
