Default C7 splash guards

Has anyone bought the GM accessory splash guards yet? Wondering if they are well designed to protect the sides? C7 owners... what are you seeing for a debri/splash pattern on the side of the car? Much on the rockers or beyond the protection film on the rear quarters?

I have them on order. $60 front, $60 rear. They are very subtle and they protect without drilling.

I have been trying to get this information. Are you sure they do not require drilling? If not, I am ready to place my order.

If like the C6, they will require drilling for the rears but not the fronts. Simple, yet drilling nonetheless. If they don't,

That would be great! Does it seem like the rockers and front of the rear quarters catch a lot of stuff from the front tires?

If like the C6, they are VERY subtle but do give the wheel well a more "finished" look IMHO:

I've noticed a fair amount, but not a big deal. I am confident these will help. There pretty small so they won't have any negative affect on the lines of the car (IMO).

I've posted a couple of threads about this same thing.

I recently very closely examined a red C7 that was driven from Ohio back down here to Arkansas. As I was fearing, there is significant rock damage on the rocker panels, doors and rear fender (in front of the rear wheels). The OEM plastic is doing its job, but there is a bunch of paint that is left unprotected. I noticed it the most on the leading edge of the door jam (not the door, but the corner that wraps from within the doorjam to behind the door, in front of the rear wheel opening.... if this makes sense).

I'm sure the OEM stone guards will provide some protection, but I agree that they look fairly small. I hope some of our suppliers (like Apsis) will be on this shortly. I have the Apsis stone guards on my 2011 Z06 - helps a bunch.

I picked up my C7 yesterday and had the guards installed before I even left the dealer. I drove it home 165 miles and none of the tire dressing they put on was slung onto my nice Arctic White paint. very subtle, but seem to do the job.

...and GM Parts House has them for $60/set. I paid $64/set at dealer, but no shipping, obviously.

Anybody know how these are installed? The c7 doesn't have push pins to remove and reinstall.

Default splash guards

We bought splash guards for our C6 from a vendor I can't mention. They were inexpensive, installed easily with metal clips, and 63K miles later have performed perfectly. Hoping there will be some aftermarket ingenuity this time around.
