I have them and they just have one bolt on the bottom. Remove the one bolt and yank the old ones off. There are 3 or 4 snap in clips. Then snap the new ones in place and replace the one bolt. I installed all 4 in 10 minutes. I will post some photos when I get home.
Has anyone bought the GM accessory splash guards yet? Wondering if they are well designed to protect the sides? C7 owners... what are you seeing for a debri/splash pattern on the side of the car? Much on the rockers or beyond the protection film on the rear quarters?
I have about 1700 miles on and the rocker panels and underside of the flare on the doors and the front of the rear fenders on and around the stock clear protection are already getting hammered by rock dings and I mean HAMMERED....I'm sick about it. The tires are so sticky that they pickup EVERY little rock.
get more clear bra protection in those areas as soon as you can!! I'ts too late for me.....
They don't stick out much but maybe don't need to. I am disappointed the fronts are not a little longer. Can someone post or email me a picture of the bottom of the front guard before they put it on? A flexible rubber extension might help. Side skirts may be the way to go. Aftermarket, opportunity is knocking.

That has GOT to be the photo angle. No way they don't go to the bottom of the wheel well.

Yes, it the poor photo angle.
They cover the exact same surface area as the stock ones. They sit about 1/8" from the bottom of the fender and rear bumper edge. The stick out about an inch and IMO, that is all you need to keep rocks from hitting the doors, rockers and rear bumper.
It looks like they are at least flush with the bottom, maybe slightly lower. In order to protect I think they should be a least 1.5" below or more. Of course to fully protect they would have to nearly drag on the ground. flaps on the ground, flaps on the ground, you look like a fool with your flaps on the ground I guess I will put on clear film. Glen, did you notice a difference in the amount of stones that stuck to or original tires vs the new set?
no, but in looking at these, I'm confident they will stop the damage for me...if you are still worried, additional XPEL film is your answer...
glen,
i hope you will update us on the efficacy of the splash guards as you put more miles on your baby. i know everyone on the forum values your attention to detail and follow up info.

Kerbeck when I'm at my beach house. Carfagno when I'm local. Also have a buddy with a full scale garage. Let me know if you need anything.
B.
we must be neighbors at home and the shore! Carfagno is closest to my house, but I will use Bryner cause they are near my office, home of DelVal Corvette Club and they service my 1982 Z28 Pace Car. Are you in Ventnor or Margate?
