they'll definitely help, but I would still have clear bra material installed on all the surfaces below the door flare and up the front of the rear fender.
Hey Bill, just ordered mine form my dealer, did you do the same, did it take long to get them, I have not gotten a quote from dealer to put them on, if I have problems I will pm you. Is the snow falling yet, can you drive your car ? Mike

I went to Fitchner's Chevy in Laurel yesterday, about 15 miles down the road from my house, they had them In stock.....the parts department was closed but Dennis and Ken were there and hooked me up anyway!! A couple of great guys!! Install is simple, one screw under the bottom of fender, about 6 clips along the length of them that will pull out fairly easily (the instructions will tell you to use a plastic blade tool...not necessary), start at the bottom and pull gently one at a time bottom to top. install in the opposite direction put the screw back in and viola!! Done....All you'll need is a 7mm socket & ratchet or a short nut driver to get on the screw head without lifting the car.
Its been pretty nice here off and on and I have been able to drive the vette quite a bit....no snow to speak of yet and what we have had is gone in a day or two.
Hows it going with you Mike?? lots of rain there since you took delivery? How'ed your car look when you got it....any issues?
I went on-line to Ken Fitchner's Chevrolet website to check information & pricing for the front and rear splash guards... All I could find was the MSRP price ($75) - checked for "special" coupon or code to use to get the discounted prices, and couldn't find any discounted pricing. Is the "sale" over, or did I just miss something??

Hmmmm....don't know, I paid 60 per set yesterday in person at Fitchners.
do you think the guards extend far enough to protect the fenders and rockers?
Splash guards alone are not enough to protect paint. The tires will sling sand and rocks at any part of the car that has a direct line-of-sight to the bottom of the front tire. I would install protective film first, then splash guards if I thought they were necessary.
(ZO6 and GS owners with lots of rock chip damage. Installed Apsis splash guards and ZR1 side skirts and still get damage.)
Thanks- that's what I was expecting to pay, too...plus, shipping!!
I know it seems like something from out of the last century, but tomorrow. Morning, pick up your phone and call Bob in parts a Fichtner Chevy. Then, you will get the price Ken posted. That's what I have done in the past, and what I'm doing tomorrow for my inbound C7.

old fashioned GREAT service. kudos to bob in the parts dept. mine are on the way thanks to his follow up call last week alerting me that the guards were now available.
I wonder if the Museum would install those on a Museum deliver car. Would be good to have those on prior to the drive home from Bowling Green.
If they won't install them for you. Bring them and a 8mm- 1/4 inch drive socket and a 1/4 inch drive ratchet and you can install all 4 of them in the parking lot in 10 minutes.

Hi Bill, so far Vette is great, only 400 miles so far, weather bad, because of all my delays my dealer and GM gave me a voucher to buy a few items, these being one, they said not sure on labor, maybe have to take wheels off, now after talking to you we have all learned we can do it ourselves...thanks Mike
