Default Tracking your C7

If anyone has been taking there order number and going directly to the Chevy web site and selecting the tab "track your order" this might be some good news for you... As of today, I did the track my order on there site. My information was not available at this time so it gave me an option to email them and they would get back to me..they replied today saying...
My order was submitted by my dealer and chevy has accepted the order. My car is now available to be sequenced for production. They go on saying that this process can take some time and can change, and that this does not mean my car is physically being built at this time. They say the next step is (TPW) targeted production week, and however my TPW is not available at this time. They thank me for my patience... Bla Bla Bla.
So I had a contact number from a guy in Kentucky who contacted me on 10/31/13 about an option I selected, so I called him again. He told me my car is scheduled to come off the production line this Friday !!! and he gave me my VIN number. I would NOT go by the Chevy web site info, in my case it slightly seems behind !!
Initial order 9/28 at Kerbeck

In my case, it seems like once I gave the dealer the down-payment, I have to pull information out of them.....

dealers are idiots in this regard:

I have said this before but the very best way to get info is from your dealer. WHEN YOU TRANSACT THE DEAL -REMIND THE SALES MANAGER - not your salesman, that you are going to get a survey when all is said and done, and you want desperately to give them good scores...but you can't, if you don't get the codes from them every few days via email at 10 am in the morning.

watch what happens, when you score the dealer low on the survey, it costs the sales department THOUSANDS of dollars.......

My dealer, Ken Fichtner, is very good about keeping me updated. I just got an email from this morning that my TPW is 11/25.

The Chevy site does not have information on my order number yet. Kelly and Dealer paperwork have me at 1100. Anyone have any idea when Chevy site picks up on order info.
