The 3LT is definitely worth it for people who think upgraded materials are worth it. Yes, even in black. Maybe you all don't notice high-end black leather on the dash, doors, and instrument panel, but I do.
The price is much less than what you would pay for the same materials on a German car -- a real bargain.
There's nothing wrong with being happy with the non-upgraded materials, but that's just not how I roll.
I agree. I've seen the two interior trim levels side by side and the 3lt's door, dash, etc. have noticeably better quality leather. It looks similar to Porsche's leather trim. The 2lt trim pieces look ok (wrapped and stitched with something is better than nothing), but you can tell it's not the good stuff. Of course, it's all what the buyer wants.

Interesting comparisons as I too was wondering what the differences are in the various trim levels. I stopped by Hendrick Chevrolet in Merriam, KS this morning and picked up a dealer brochure. Going to start planning what I want - should be ready to buy in about a year.
I changed my order from black 2lt to red 3lt on an arctic white after I saw them in person and was able to compare.... What a relief it is to be able to see them before my order went through. I love the options chevy provided on a first year run....I know I am going to love it whenever the trains decides to deliver it (should be built this week).

Getting my thoughts together for a 2015. I would definitely pop for the 3lt (pricewise) if it were not for the NAV (garbage IMO). I'm on my 2nd C6 (with 3lt/NAV) and just simply won't own another vette w/ NAV....
