Default splash guards

I got my OEM splash guards very quickly from Gene Cully. Price was great.
Install took 20 minutes with only a 7mm socket required. The clips just pulled out.

Interestingly. the original pieces are made in the USA. The splash guards are Chinese manufacture. They offer a little more protection than the original pieces. My biggest question is why GM didn't just install these at the factory. I paid $65K for my car and they couldn't install splash guards that extend maybe an inch or an inch and a half out from the wheel well.

Anyway, kudos to Gene for excellent service.

I received mine before Thanksgiving and had to go out of town. I think I will put them on tomorrow though. It's my first Corvette and I want to protect the paint as much as I can. This is some cheap security. You are correct when you say they should have come on the car from the factory.

Do you have any pictures? Do you have to take the wheels off?

I'll take pictures tomorrow while I am at Cars and Coffee. It is really fast and easy. No jacking and wheels stay on.

Installed mine in about a 1/2 hour. Did not need to remove or even turn wheels. Interestingly there was a lot of debris hiding behind the back side of the wheel well covering on the right rear only. Check it out...

Because many will not want them due to the look. I personally like the look but I believe most don't.

Thank you for your business and the positive feedback. It is a very nice well thought out product. If any of you would be kind enough to post these kinds of things regarding easy install and all in my splash guard threads in the C7 Vendor section I would appreciate it. This is valuable information.

Install is super easy. Don't need to move your car out of the garage or remove any wheels. You can do all 4 in a matter of 15 minutes. Instructions come with the Splash Guards.

They look real good on the car, not like an afterthought.
Despite them not looking very big, the seem to do a very good job. Good luck.

Put mine on tonight. Agree the car should have come from the factory with them. Very unobtrusive and they should protect the paint a little better.

I noticed the country origin too. You don't even turn the front wheels as per the instructions. Mine are on a NRB car so they blend in well.

Agree - should have been on the car as standard equipment. They are a nice addition.

Maybe what should have been on the car is a slight outward flare at the bottom of the fenders. That would eliminate the add-on look.

Here are pictures of the splash guards. They look good and I think they will afford adequate protection. Car was just washed and still has water drops.
