Chevrolet has figured out how much the Stuttgart brand is getting for appearance items like this and capitalizing on it. I think $500 for painted calipers is too much too. I think the standard plaque looks great.

Correct, which actually makes it easier to do a generic personalization like "Z51 Corvette Stingray".
