Its pretty hard to tear them up and wear them out, but if you do and they need replacement just pry them off like we did in the test video on a C6 Fang which is half the length of a C7 Fang.
Watch the video at bottom of page.

Thank you,

How do they attach to the skid plates? In the photo it looks like you supply some adhesive?
BJ
EDIT: Disregard, watched the installation video.

Sorry to hear that the C7 has the same radiator support problem as the C6. I have the fangs on my GS. They won't save you from a big hit. Only you can do that by being aware/careful. But, they will help with scraping the supports. Better to scrape the plastic than the actual aluminum piece.

I didn't think I needed these. Then I went over a speed bump that didn't seem that high, but I scraped the radiator supports on the way down. So I ordered and installed the fangs and, of course, haven't scraped anything since.
But they're cheap insurance, so definitely recommended. I seriously suggest using an oscillating multi-tool to sand off the paint, though. Doing that all by hand would be way too much work.

Fangs will buy
I had Fangs on my C5 coupe. Easy to install and look 100% OE. GM should install these at the factory!
It looks like the C7 Fangs install with adhesive -- the white zip ties you see in the pic just help hold the black Fang in place until the adhesive cures. Then the zip ties are discarded.

Will these reduce ground clearance?
I plan to get my car xpeled so that I can just run it through an automatic car wash... The clearance of the carwash is probably around 3-3.5inches. Was wondering if that will be an issue with this product. Please advise. Thanks!!!
Please let me know if you have any shots before and after of the installed fangs. Point of view set to what you would see if you were laying down and looking into the car underside
