He's saying that he kept swapping positions with the C5. This could leave the impression that it's a common thing, given the waving reputation of the Vette community. So he wonders if it's okay to just pass the guy. But anyway, he liked it.

Cool to have a fellow nerd on the forum. I'm a front end engineer. What draws me to the C7 for inspiration is the real materials, the power, and engineering. The inspiration is related to how much effort I put into my work which that in turn becomes money...the car is a goal met in that respect. In short...set a goal, claim the reward when met and be inspired by the reward. C7 Z06 is next.
