Plant is Open
Just got the word from my dealer. My car was produced yesterday 1/2/2014. My TPW was 12/16/2013. On 12/18/2013 I was at 3400 (broadcast). Today I am a happy camper at 3800.

That's encouraging!
I was given a TPW of 1/6 when I went to 3400 on 12/18. Maybe it'll actually happen!

Does the plant group similar cars for being built together (e.g. color, z51's vs base, certain options)?
And if so...which options do yall have?

I believe exterior color is a factor for grouping cars together. I say it based on assembly line video posted while before.
I ordered torch red.

although I'm not so sure it is true about color as the video that GM released shows all different colors in line

Wonder if it was actually built before the shutdown but not entered into the system until yesterday (maybe the data entry folks are a different schedule than the line workers?)

Approx 3.5 days from start to 3800 when it drives off the line & out to the yard.

That would be my guess. There were too many reports of the plant not starting back until the 6th, but of course they could have been wrong.

When I went through the plant, they were doing 8-12 cars in a row in the same color, except LG. There were only 5 LG's that morning. They alternated coupe and convertible with occasionally 2 coupes back to back.
