I went to look at the convertibles last Saturday at Rick Hendrick in Duluth, GA and found and bought exactly what I wanted. For all of the Lime Rock Green haters, I think this is the most beautiful Vette I've ever seen! Each to their own, beauty is in the eye, etc.!!
Was there getting my C7 Z51's first oil change. The competition seats were nice. I think the green looks amazing in the sun. Good luck.
From various photos in the past year I felt that I didn't like the Limerock Green. Then I saw the Limerock Green vert in person at the L.A. Auto Show. It had the same interior as yours.
I saw that combination in a coupe a few months ago here in Detroit. I had to do a double take...it certainly looks sharp in person. The convertable looks even better. Enjoy it.
Photos of the C7 do not do the car justice. When I saw images of the C7 in Lime Rock Green I thought it looked awful. But then my son and I attended the L.A. Auto Show where they had a Lime Rock convertible with the Kalahari interior. Wow! What a beautiful machine...
I had a similar experience at a cars and coffee. Never liked the LRG in pics but in person it looks great.
Interesting that the car was ordered with the competition seats. I was under the impression that those seats were made more for the track and not as comfortable? They look great, I'll say that...but odd that track seats would be in a 'vert that will not likely see a track. No offense...I'm just curious.
I love the LRG, too. My LRG is being built this week! Being Irish I'm going to tell everyone the color is Irish Racing Green. Nobody will know the difference I figure. My son lives in CT so hoping to drive it to a race at Lime Rock Park soon.
