I Just received the Chevrolet performance emails and this is one of the promoted engines -could it be the next engine for the 2018 Corvette/ Camaro?

Chevrolet Performance engineers have wasted no time digging into the new LT engine family to mine more power – and they’ve delivered it in the LT376/535. It builds on the technologies and capability of the LT1 6.2L offered in the Corvette Stingray and Camaro SS. The result is an engine with 75 more horsepower than its LT1 predecessor.

The LT376/535 is architecturally similar to the LT1 and LS family of small-block engines, but with a unique block casting, cylinder head design, oiling system, and more. It retains the advanced technologies of the LT1, including Direct Injection to support an advanced combustion system to create a more than capable engine for your project.

By adding CNC-ported heads and our high-lift LT1 Hot Cam the LT376/535 delivers more naturally aspirated horsepower than its predecessors.

I seriously doubt a base C7 is coming with CNC ported heads and a hot cam

No VVT or AFM unfortunately. This does not help the gas mileage, which means it's not gonna be the next NA LT1 variation. You might see better flowing heads/exhaust, but the cam size is limited due to AFM.

That's just a heads and cam setup the factory is going to sell for people to do transplants... nothing new there

exactly. Isnt this the same thing as the ls3 package that was offered at 480? i think it was 480hp anyway.

One of my favorite things about chevrolet is that they list all of their crate motors and dynos on the website.
