This is my golf stuff loaded. The cart goes into a duffle bag then strapped into the pass seat with the seat belt. No room for the girl friend on the way to the course as it should be.

Here's a tip I used when traveling in my C5 vert. I bought a small foldable golf back. That got stashed in one of the compartments in the truck. I laid the clubs flat side by side on the floor of the trunk making sure there was not stress on the heads. I packed right on top of them. Total room taken by clubs is about an inch.
Yeah, you do feel kind of goofy with the foldable bag but look at is as an opportunity make a little money off the guy with the giant staff bag and a 15 handicap.

Whether or not golf clubs would fit into the trunk of the vert was one of my biggest concerns believe it or not. One of my favourite places to drive my Camaro for the past 4 years has been the golf course. Some people might find that ridiculous but there's no way I'm putting clubs in the passenger seat and there's no way I'm buying a car I can't drive to my course in every weekend.
I just dropped off my Camaro at the dealership yesterday for my trade in and have at least 3 months of driving to the course on my Terrain that I'm not looking forward to. This wait is going to be hard.

I used to play to a 10 handicap-hurt my back about 10 yrs ago and can only play once a week when my back feels OK. My first time out this year was last week and I shot a 105-depressing to play golf that way. Maybe a C7 will help my swing.....or better yet my back.

USGA handicap is based upon the best 10 scores of your last 20 rounds. It indicates your potential. With that said, if you are using just your average score to arrive at a 10 handicap your AVERAGE score would be in the 82-85 range. I guess a best all time score of 79 is possible based upon a very small sample. Sorry, forgot this is a car forum not a golf forum.

We are going to rent a C7 Conv. in FL for a week.
What are the sizes or measurements of your bags? Especially the red one? Did you have problem to get it through the opening?
Thank you

Ok, I finally put the load in the car. The bags are not full but I will include the measurements of the items at their "full" values.
Black suitcases: 22 1/2" long, 12" wide, 13" thick (Height As Seen)
PC bag between suitcases: 18" long, 13" wide, 5" thick (H.A.S.)
Red Bag on top of PC bag: 9" long, 9" wide, 5" thick (H.A.S.)
Brown bag at right: 22 1/2 inches long, 15" wide, 12" thick (H.A.S.)
Big Red Bag: 20" long (L-R),8" Wide, 11" thick (H.A.S)
Camera case: 12" (L-R), 8" wide, 8 1/2" thick (H.A.S.)
As you can see, it all fits just fine with a couple of spots for small junk. All of this and I STILL have room for the fire extinguisher sitting on the rear center floor of the trunk!
The final picture is all of the items sitting on the floor in a plan similar to the one in the car.

Hi eboggs_jvkl
Thank you very much.
My problem is, that we will have a spinner suitcase with the following measures:
28.25 x 18.5 x 12.25
do you think it will fit?
here the suitcase itself:
Spinner Suitcase 25"
when i look at your picture ... i would think it should fit... but i have doubts with the opening. :-(
Thank you very much.

yes it is the height and it is 18" wide. Just have doubts regarding the wide and the opening. Meaning when it is packed that it would not fit trough the opening.
That would be great if it would fit... otherwise i would need to go with a Camaro SS which is not comparable with a C7.
Thank you Elmer.

I'll go look and see about that extra 6 inches on the width.

Nope, sorry. I'd say 14 maybe 15" will make it in but 18" is just too much to make it through the opening

thank you Elmer for your help.
Is the 14-15" the distance between the lock system and the top divider? I guess it was with the C6.
Do you think it would also not go trough the opening at an angle?

I don't see it getting in without flexing and that case doesn't look like it would flex.
