All look great in my opinion, I just not sure I'd trust my C7 interior to a $5 dye pen.
Has anyone gone through a few summers sun/heat and general wear to test durability?

Red stitching looks great with a red & black interior, however pink would not.

Earlier replies in this thread have stated after years of use there wasn't any fading on other cars. Even stock colored thread can fade over time in the sun though. I can always go over the thread again if needed. Trust me I was worried as well though, but decided to risk it haha :-

heres the tip: YOU HAVE TO DO IT LIGHT and then quickly wipe it with a microfiber rag to get that Kalahari color. I can post more photos of the rest of my car with it to show you but it is EXACT.

They have it, the ZR1 has an option for orange stitching when you get the SO color. I think its the "design package" or something. Wish all cars had that option.

Anyone try this yet that has microfiber instead of the standard leather?

I would imagine it would take 3 times longer and i would be concerned with staining the fabric.

I posed this question earlier in this thread (I have the Black Suede option) and was advised to be VERY careful and do it someplace where it won't show first. I just picture the microfiber (suede) sucking up that red...eek!

Exactly. I wanted a guinea pig to try it first lol!

I wonder if i could order some sample microfiber material and some thread and try it out somehow.

Still think if would take to long to be worth it though.

Thanks for the info! How many pens did it take and how many coats did you apply to achieve the results in the pics, the color looks pretty close to Velocity Yellow from your pics. Thanks in advance for your help!!
