Corvette #33
Just took delivery of my 33rd. Corvette yesterday. It is just a one option car (npp exhaust) with a 7 speed manual. This is my one and only car that will be driven both as basic transportation and fun! I loved the 427 Convertible but it was not a practical DD especially for my budget.
Anyway....I LOVE this car!!!
BTW...It was 42 years ago today that I bought my first Corvette!

Why would this car be any more 'practical' as a DD than your last one?

Did you order it or bought from stock?

Short answer....The 427 Corvette payment was much higher and all items such as tires, brakes etc etc. would be more costly to replace.

Congrats on your latest Corvette purchase. Red is a great color but I'm liking the new Lime Rock Green as well.

Gary,
LOL
At lunch time today, I actually looked around for a recent post from you announcing your latest "I'll keep this one a long, long time" Corvette.
(What was the 427? 9 months? If it wasn't triple black I would have already been asking you about its retirement.)
Congratulations on this one (too)! Its a beauty.
Don

Yeah, I know. LOL. And I remember you saying how much you liked convertibles so I know this one has no long term prospects either. I'm just hoping I get my first C7 before you move on to your second one.
