I placed my order (Event Code 1000) on Oct. 15, my 60th birthday. The order went to 1100 on Oct. 24, to 3000 on Nov. 26, and to 3400 on Dec. 10. It was produced on Dec. 17. It was then pulled for “QC Body Inspection.” And it stayed there for five weeks. My salesman, Chris, at Grabiak Chevrolet has done a great job of keeping me informed with a call weekly or when anything changed. He called today to tell me that the transporter with my Corvette on it left the Bowling Green Plant at 2:23PM yesterday, Jan. 21. It should arrive at the dealers today or tomorrow. They will need about half a day for PDI. It is not supposed to snow on Friday, so hopefully I will be able to get it home. After five weeks of waiting I am more than ready!

I am glad you are getting your car. You story worries me, as mine was built 1/16/2014. 1/17/2014 it went to 4D00-Vehicle on Hold. I sure hope mine is not five weeks.
I was really once I saw the build date hoping it would be at the dealer when I landed at home Feb 4th.

So I assume that you are going to be camping out on your dealer's lawn tonight in a tent

Mine was built on 1/13 and delivered 1/20. It showed 4D00 the day after it was built and still showed it on 1/17. I was really surprised when I got the call that it had arrived.

Last week my salesman called the Plant and inquired about the duration of the QC hold. He was told that it could be two to six weeks. Mine was five weeks. Keep in mind that the Christmas-New Years shutdown took place during mine. Hopefully you will not have to wait five weeks like I have. My hope is that this means that my body and paint passed QC check and is perfect, or at least nearly so.

Good luck!
Thanks. Got an update this afternoon, it was a 4D00

Well even though this afternoon it was 4D00 - Vehicle on Hold. Ten minutes after my fist post in this thread just a couple minutes ago, dealer e-mailed me pictures of my car, in his show room, locked with do not touch signs.
I will not get to see it in person until the 5th, as I am off shore at work right now.

It's 8 degrees here right now. I think I'll wait until tomorrow and camp out inside their showroom and wait for the truck. You can bet that when I get it home I will crank up the heat in the garage and spend a lot of time out there with it. There won't be much else for me to do with it as other than this Friday, we're supposed to have snow nearly every day for a week.

Great you will get to spend time in your heated Garage, sorry to hear about all the pending snow. I have two long weeks off shore before I can see mine in person.

That will be a long two weeks. You sure have a lot to look forward to when return.
