Looks like we have a few C7s in the State and more on the way. I look forward to seeing all of you on the roads, once this terrible winter comes to an end.
I agree, it will be great to see some on the road. Mine had just over 500 miles when parked and will seem like something brand new again when I eventually pull it out. Haven't even looked under the car cover since early November...
The April 5th Cars & Coffee in Chanhassen sure looks questionable at this point unless we get a major warmup and roads clear/dry.
You guys should make it Cars & Coffee this Spring when the weather thaws out. I've only seen a few C7's at the Detroit Auto Show but I would love to get some first hand feedback from owners.
Chris, who did you get to do your courtesy delivery and what did they charge?
I don't know if you received my e-mail reply last week.
Main Motors in Anoka is providing the delivery and they agreed to do it for $200. They have done it before for MacMulkin out of NH. I worked with Ron and wow what a great experience, very easy to order the car. I tried local but no allocation after almost 4 months for a non Z-51. I wanted to buy local but lets just say the Chevy dealers around our area (WBL) are less than easy to work with and knowledge is lacking even after they are trained to be specialist. I had to show them how to open the hood as just one example. Not trying to beat up on them but it didn't hurt me to move my business as the service just wasn't that wonderful.
Just had mine delivered today via Passport transport from Bud's in Ohio. Worked with Tom H and it couldn't have gone smoother. Bought from their inventory.
Black/Black/Black wheels, yellow calipers, z51, 2lt, 7m, comp seats, npp, mag, nav. Beautiful car! Pics truly do not do the black ones justice.
Now the wait for spring begins...
Andover, MN.

Look for me on the roads whenever they are cleared down to bare pavement!
I grew up in Wrenshall MN, later lived in Cloquet MN and Duluth MN. I've been in Texas; near Houston for the past 12 years. I picked up my C7 last November and now have about 2800 miles on it. I miss Minnesota but only in the summer. Hopefully I'll have my C7 up there sometime this summer if not next summer. BTW, we still belong to the Corvettes North Car Club out of Duluth MN. We have the only C7 in the club.
Sorry Mud Ducks! This Cheesehead stole a Z51 out from under you back in November and brought it back to Packerland thanks to the Chevrolet locator. It was still on the rail car headed for Wilcox Chevrolet/Cadillac in Forest lake. Two phone calls and a done deal under MSRP. I know it's a bit much to ask after doing that... but could you please keep the rest of winter on your side of the St Croix?

Wow, I was talking to Aaron at Wilcox about that same car back in November also, but I wasn't ready to buy yet and I wanted to order what I wanted.
Another thing, just for buying one of our Corvettes, were going to send over six more weeks of winter! Enjoy your car and the snow!
Will pick up mine at the Factory on 31 March and drive home to Minneapolis (Plymouth). White 2LT with grey interior, automatic and looking for chrome rims and all seasons for the drive home. Don't want to take the risk with the original tires the way this winter stays around. My first ever US made vehicle!
Blizzard conditions tonight with a wind chill of -35 degrees below zero! Going to be a while before the MN C7s hit the blacktop. This is way past funny. My sense of humor is just about gone.

I agree, and the next week or so doesn't look real promising either. I received my personalized plates ZOOOMIN for the C7 3 months ago and haven't even bothered to put them on or attach the front license bracket. It's like I don't even own these three as "cars"-they're just placeholders with covers on them in the garage. This is shaping up to be one of the latest Springs I can recall. Our already short 'Vette season is getting shorter, and we're not being overly **** about not driving them in the Winter; it's even challenging getting around with my AWD CTS...
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
