My order was placed in Sept. and am still waiting. It is at 1100. Convertible, 3LT, with the Z51 package. Was told by the dealer looks like I might get it in March.
How many allocations does your dealer have remaining? He should know this number. Every dealer was given the total number of allocations for the balance of the model year. How many are in line in front of you at this dealer and how many of those also want Z51? If you dealer has very few allocations, your chances are not very good.
Did you check with Kerbeck? I just counted his inventory list: (5) Z51 convertibles "in stock", and, (3) Z51 convertibles "in transit". Why, pretell are you still "waiting" after 4 months??

So, only your dealer knows you have an order. Chevy does not, because they have not accepted your order if they did you would be 2000.
If you go to 2000 this week you might have it by the end of March.
You need to ask..
Does your dealer have allocations?
How many in front of you?
Sounds like your dealer does not have an allocation.

The statement that only your dealer placed your order is misleading. A preliminary order is in the system and subject to reviews and rework. My order has been researched and is currently waiting allotment date. The dealer thinks GM will pick up my order in the near future.
That's a long time to be sitting at 1100. As mentioned above, bigger dealers have Stingrays in stock, ready to go. Do some checking. You might find what you want and can be driving it in a matter of days. Good luck.

I don't see how he can tell you that without your order being accepted by GM and on their system. Status 2000.
Call TommyJr at MacMulkin.......he has 101 Stingrays of all colors and combos looking for a home. Big discounts too. Now that's allocation.
My local dealer said he has over 20 customers on a waitlist at sticker plus.
"What we have here is a failure to communicate."
Non-forum people just don't know where to buy I guess.
. Some of us just don't want to go through the hassle of out of state orders, shipping, and maybe getting a car that needs warranty work, another hassle, with a dealer who didn't sell the car (motivation). It will come, and I will only have to go down the street to get it.

Not really miss leading. Pretty clear by everyone on the board and the dealers. At 1100 the order is with the dealer, and the dealer does not have an allocation.
You do not have an order with GM to build the car until it is 2000.
If your dealer does not get an allocation, then you will never go to 2000, and will not get your car built.

The warranty is nation wide an any/all Chevy dealers. They don't give a crap where you bought the car. Usually service is a different profit center from sales and revenue is revenue.

GM pays the receiving dealer to prep the car and warranty it is GM.
That is called PDI Courtesy delivery where GM pays for it.

My dealer called me in June and stated he had 6 initial allocations, so I got number 6 and it was submitted by the dealer in Sept. In Nov. he advised me that he had to use my allocation or loose it, so he place one without the Z51 and reissued mine. I ask a Chevy general manager at another place and he said that is what has happen to many orders in Southern CA. with Z51 packages. If true it is a very bad policy!!

What else do you expect them to do? The fact is there are more people wanting Z51 (and certain other options) than they are capable of producing due to supplier limitations. They are going to keep the factory at its normal run rate. Therefore, cars will be produced without the options that are constrained. Your dealer can use their allocation with options that are available to them, or they can give up their allocation to another dealer. Result is the same to you - you don't get the car. As has been repeatedly stated on this forum, the best way to avoid this is to go to one of the large volume Corvette dealers.

I don't know who your dealer is, but you might want to consider Rydell Chevrolet in Northridge if you want to stay local. I placed my order with them a few weeks ago. I am still at "1100", but they claim they have available allocations promised to them from GM. It might be awhile, but you should get one.

Well just got good news from my dealer that he got to allocations and one is mine. No constraints.

Hi Zymurgy; I have had my C7 with the Z51 package on order since Oct.4th when the dealer placed the order. I know Iam at 1100 because Marissa from GM sent me an email telling me that. So I have been stuck at 1100 for 4 months now. Are you saying that I can call me dealer and he knows "exactly" what his allocation is????? He never told me that. He just says he has "no idea" if we are going to get a 14 model or if we will have to wait for the 2015's. Iam more than just confused. The whole thing is starting to turn me off. Hope to hear from you. THANK YOU. PATRIOT77
