Just got off the phone with Ken Fitchtner and my order is placed!

Thanks for all the comments. No trade, last week I finalized what I wanted and who I would order from and then placed the order/put up the deposit today. Ken had an allocation for what I wanted so he expects that next week on Tuesday the order will move to 2000 (I think that is the right code) and based on his allocations expects the car to be built mid March. Really easy guy to deal with, very responsive along the way to my PM's and emails, that's how he earned my business as there were other dealers I never heard back from.

How can you just place your order and a week later move to "2000"????? I placed my order for my Z51 package on Oct.4th and Iam still at "1100" and was told yesterday by my dealer he has "no clue" as to when I will get the car. He said I may not even get one and may end up with a 2015. This is the absolute "craziest" thing I have ever seen. Iam getting very disgusted with how GM is handling this. It should be "first come first served" not who is the biggest kid on the block so he comes first.

It's that simple, Ken had allocation yesterday, I was able to jump right in and be off to the races. I am sure that would be true with some of the other forum dealers who sell a lot of Vettes and in turn get a lot of allocation. I went with Ken simply beacuse he was very responsive to me while some others were not.

In addition to being responsive, Ken is a class act and I'm sure you'll be pleased. The car sounds stunning.
