me too, that pic was from Big Moose lake about eight years ago. As much as I like the Cat chassis and engine their stock clutching sucks once HP climbs above 225-250, Stock Yamaha clutching can easily handle bigger Hp #'s
Well now Cat and Yammie are working together...best of both...I've been riding Cats since 1971...I've ridden exactly where your pic was taken when I was back there in the mid 70's....Sad snow state out here in WNY right now

you got me buy three years Jeff, I started in '74, ridden pretty much everything a lot of which is no longer in production. I will say the Polaris 'wedge' chassis of the nineties were my favorite though, dependable and easy to work on. While I enjoy my current four stroke Cat, their QC still sucks, as well as their clutching. The Yammie / Cat arrangement is great, I suspect my next sled will be the Viper…..best of both worlds, Yammie motor and clutching / Cat chassis.
here's another 'Winter Lovers' shot from my favorite playground…..Moosehead Lake, Maine.
Oh my God--this whole post had me laughing till my eyes watered!

Wow..that's some awesome looking snow for sledding...I was surprised our club meeting was as upbeat as it was today...My HP never gets above 150 so stock clutching works fine for me...no lake running out here and speed is limited to 55 on the trails....Cats rule
I am in Madison, and your right it sucks bad. I ordered mine so it shows up in May. Should be perfect timing. I actually looked at a Porsche TT today in Chicago to see if I would prefer buying a used one of these or a Vette. I think it help me cement the vette, as much as I have always wanted a TT looking at it I didn't think it was that great inside.
I know of the Audi TT but was unaware that Porsche made one also.
Tell me about it bruther. Im in houston tx and its been ***** cold here too, this winter has been very unforgiving. I moved here from the bay area (northern Cali) to escape the cold and now it found me here lol. Look at it like this, you are going to enjoy your baby that much more, and will have summer/spring around the corner to look forward to. Hang in there my man, Ur right at the finish line
We were SLAMMED with nearly an inch of snow Tuesday night in Orangeburg county, South Carolina. The 'Vette stayed in the garage for two days!! I'm ready for spring!!
Slammed with a inch!:lol OMG....Are you talking white powder?
My car arrived at the dealership Wednesday and was going to pick it up tomorrow. Now they're forecasting a small blizzard in Chicago tomorrow morning!!
Looks like I'll be waiting until next Saturday as my work schedule doesn't allow picking it up next week. If the anticipation doesn't kill me first.
Worst winter in WI I can ever remember. Don't think we've gone more than a day or two up here without snow!
