I'm not a fan of black wheels and doubt I would get a set for any of my cars, but on colors like torch red and artic white, they do make for a very good contrast.

I have this color combination on order. Set to be built this week. I will be looking for an second set of wheels as this car will be seeing a lot of track time. Probably pick up one of the after market chrome offerings and then I'll be able to switch it up. Black wheels look amazing in person on the Blade Silver.

I ordered the black wheels on my AW as well, I always thought black wheels gave the car no contrast on dark colors but on the AW it seems like the only choice.

I keep wondering if I am making a mistake by not getting carbon flash mirrors and spoiler. Everytime I see a picture I like it.

I'm with you on the black wheel thing looks like car has nothing for wheels going down the road but black blobs. Some folks like because of brake dust. Honda's with black metal wheels.

First choice is always the right choice. I decided against the carbon flash mirrors & spoiler and am happy with my decision.

Yeah. I like chrome the best but I don't think they look $2000 better than the painted silver.

Sorry also in the like chrome wheels better camp. I also think black with maybe polished silver or whatever on the spokes type of thing looks not too bad but straight black especially matt black is really not that appealing to me. High gloss black like bit better. I have black and aluminum on one of my race cars and they look ok. But the aluminum does to me is what makes the black wheels look nice.

At first I did not like Blk rims but entertained the idea on my Daytona Sunset Orange C6 and now seriously thinking I will be getting then for a Artic White C7.

Me too, I'm afraid to report.

The chrome is starting to look gaudy to me, actually Grandpa-style looking........and the brushed aluminum look I'm not down with either.

They (the black wheels) still have their origins in ricers, if I recall correctly.

Monk's black wheels are growing on me.

Love the Black wheels on Artic White, Silver, Torch Red and VY.

I had narrowed my car color choice to 3 real fast, Blade Silver, Artic White and the Blue on the Premiere.

Love TR but have had Red Vetts. Love VY, but not sure I would for 6 years or more.

Ruled out the blue first. Then it was Silver or White, ended up going white after several weeks debate

The look of black wheels look much better when seeing them with my own eyes on a C7. About 99% of the pictures that I see are too dark and I have a hard time telling where the wheel stops, the tire starts and where the tire is in the wheel well. One big black blurr. Of the wheels that I have seen on the C7s they looked really dusty and dirty. Where the silver does not seem to show the dirt and dust as much.

I think Black is good looking, but I decided to go with silver, as it was different. Hard to believe that silver is different

They all look good.

It looks much better when you build it on the Chevy website. Most pictures don't seem to have sufficient lighting.
