My install will total a couple of hours - 2 coats of high build primer, sanded between coats to fill the factory dimple texture then carbon flash and clear - now they will match all the other trim on my TR coupe (when it shows up).

After looking at this thread...I felt compelled to order a set! So, I just did. MY C7 is a DD driven all year long so I figured it's wise to get them.

Rustoleum Filler Primer from AutoZone but I'm sure other brands would work.

Forgot to mention that first I used adhesion promoter that I bought from Automotive Touchup along with the carbon flash and the clear

I had my dealer install in make-ready at no charge took 20 min. I watched the make-ready do it.I bought the splash guards from GMP,forum vender $120.00 when i got them.Yes they should have come standard on the car.R
