I couldn't agree more !! Can't count the number of times I've seen Vert with the top down and side windows up !

Something not right here. The initial posting on this thread is shown coming from me but it wasn't me. Not a problem with what was written but concerned that someone or some how a posting is attributed to me that was not written by me.

C6 needed it, the C7 doesn't. It is very quiet in the C7 with the top down, even at 70 MPH.

Save your money unless you want the fancy light show behind your head.

Report it to the admin. They can trace and compare the IP used for the initial post against your last reply #23.

Can you show more pictures of how it mounts?
it's the only one designed where you don't have to take it out every time you put the top up or down. Also can come with customizable logos/designs. You can also get it to where it will illuminate. As per the difference from clothe to solid piece we have, The solid piece reduces turbulance from the back flow while the mesh doesn't completely do this. You still get the wind for the reason you bought the convertible but you don't get the hassle from turbulance so you can hold a conversation or keep from turning the radio all the way just to hear a song.

Coming from a 500 SL with original MB wind deflector I feel a big difference to the C7 Convertible without that.
So I would prefer an original GM solution with a textile net which protects better than a plexi glass deflector.
Hope it will come soon!

They also add nothing in the looks department. Once you drive around a bit with your top down you will find out this wind deflector is not needed and a waste of money.

I do not
I personally prefer to drive side windows down when I am alone. But my wife does not like any wind in her hair, so I have to do something.
And the C7 convertible definitivly has air turbulences. My hope is that there will be soon a solution with an effecive wind protector.

Not needed on the C7. Buy it only if you like the graphics.

Could put the top up, get a coupe, get different wife that isn't so "hair" oriented, get ear plugs and ignore noise from starboard side of car, tell her to just deal with it and enjoy your convertible!

I love my C7 convertible. The power top is the greatest. Wind deflector not needed.

Yesterday I drove my 500 SL at 34°F and believe me, I enjoyed my wind deflector!

I am living in the German Alps and use my vert also in wintertime.

Therefore I hope also for a solution for my soon coming C7 vert.

C.

People without hair don't need a wind deflector... of course that makes sense.
