Today i visited the Auto show, and being 6'3" tall i was totally turned off on how crampted i was, it was tighter then my last Viper inside. I had way more room in my C6. I checked 2 cars just to make sure i had the seat all the way back.
Well this answered my next car question, C6- ZR1 it will be.
Here i thought i was going to have plenty of room. Very dissapointed.....
er...um....uh....why would you think that the 2015 model will have any more room than the 2014--probably exactly the same.

I'm sorry you weren't comfortable! I'm 6'4" and fit very well and am so comfortable I could sleep in it!

There is no way on earth these are the same measurements for both cabins. I had so much more room in my C6. I will try again next time im around a chevy store.
Here's the specs:

I agree it seems more tight, but I think it is the "wrap around" cockpit feel that makes it seem smaller.

I must of been sitting in the wrong car.....lol 6'4" tall and you fit fine. I better check this out again...... All i know is i know how to set up a seat in a car, and i could not get confy. Im going to try this again in the spring.

I'm 6'3 with wide shoulders and it's perfect for me. Viper had no head room.
I'm with the OP. I felt quite confined in the C7 cabin. It's not even close to the space in my C5. Sorry to say, but it's a deal breaker for me. I know it's a great car but I'll be damned if I'll spend $70K on a car and feel cramped.
6'2" 220, and I love how I fit into the car. I wouldn't want to be much taller because, the problem isn't in the legroom department, the problem is visibility out the top of the windshield. That's the only drawback - if I'm the first car at a light, I have to duck a little bit to see the light sometimes.
Just a thought. Chevy offers two different seats for the C7. I would think that they would have the standard GT Buckets on a show car but it is possible they had the Completion Sport Buckets which are less comfortable and just maybe that was what you sat in. Just a thought. Try a dealer car with the standard seats and see what happens. Good Luck

I can't figure this out. My C5 seems more roomy but the cars should have the same interior specs.
6' 2" with a 35 inch inseam and 240Lbs. I have sat in 4 C7's now and I fit fine.
Move the seat bottom full forward, move the seatback full forward, drop the seat bottom all the way down.
Then move the seat bottom all the way back followed by moving the seatback all the way back. I have 3 inches of headroom in this configuration. I could even stand to move the seat bottom forward a few inches and still be comfortable.
Here is a tip I put 6' 10" son in law in daughters vett. Here is how seat back straight up first second seat bottom all the way down no tilt on bottom one move seat all the way back now tilt seat back as far as it will go now sit down in car, you do adjustments while standing outside. You should fit no problemo.
Try it don't knock it, it works.

I'm 6'2" fit fine, seat forward a bit, steering wheel forward a bit, seat back almost straight up. Look at NASCAR seating positions, the drivers are almost breastfeeding the steering wheel.....I like close quarters feeling, makes me feel better in touch with what's going on with the car rather than a lounge chair level of comfort.
Seriously though, there are a lot of tall people here who haven't felt that way.
Now, what I say you're not gonna like but I am sick and tired of building bigger and bigger sports cars for bigger people! If you can't fit in a 246 Dino gt -- too bad! It's not for everyone and forcing it to be something for the last 1% would ruin it for the other 99.
Ahhh....246 Dino. One of my three favorite Ferrari's, the other two being TR's and the totally unaffordable (for me anyway) F40. I hope to have a TR one day.
I do agree with many on the forum that the C7 cabin feels smaller. I think the new C7 seats with the taller non flat seat cushion makes the cabin tighter. I personally like it that way but for me being 5'11 it fits me perfectly. I went to the reveal of the Lamborghini Huracán 2/14/14 and after sitting in that car the C7's green house feels like a school bus. I don't understand why they are making these cars smaller inside since people are getting bigger. Since I love sports cars I am glad I am not that tall...

Good point and sound advice. Check with a dealer that has a C7 before you give up.

Nobody has mentioned that the position of the Steering Wheel might add to the claustrophobic feel as well. Moving the Steering Wheel closer to the Dash and slightly elevating it might help those who feel cramped. Just my $.02.
