Hey Fellow Vette and Soon to be Vette Owners,
Received a call from my dealer last night and my NRB Z51 3LT 7 speed has arrived. Hooray!!! It only took 3 days from the time it was bayed/ready to ship to arrival at dealer. Trucking is the way to go as mine went from BG to Paramus, NJ. From the time of placing the order to arrival it was 5 1/2 months. Unfortunately, can't pick it up today because of a wedding to attend and can't go on Monday because of a major snowstorm we are getting here in NJ. So, I will have to suck it up until some time next week. Will send pictures. Good luck to all those still waiting and best to all of you who are driving their new Rays.
I would've woken up with a "terrible bug". Don't want to go to the wedding and get all those other people sick do you? "Give everyone my regards and tell them I really wish I could be there..."
Then go to the dealer, do the paperwork, drive the car around for a bit. Take it back to the dealer so they can do a complete detail and tell them you'll pick it up when the snow clears. Go home, climb back in bed, and have some chicken soup made for you.
Congrats, just ordered mine last week and I am already checking the Chevrolet build site twice a day looking for the "Accepted for Production" status...
Good for you! Sounds like a great car. I am waiting on the arrival of an NRB 2LT Z51 M7. Supposed to be on a truck somewhere. I have a VIN, and here's the car coming off the line at BG . . .
How do you get a photo of your car coming off the line? Is this part of the buyer's tour?
I'd also like to know. I know that you can order the Corvette Photo Album from the National Corvette Museum which will give you 20 pages of photos of your car being built. But do they also send you a digital photo of your car as well?

If you order the album they will email you "2 or 3 picture to share with your family". The actual album comes several weeks later but it sure is a thrill to see YOUR CAR the same day it rolls off. They sent me 2 pictures, the one I posted and this one showing my dash at the moment with 0 miles on clock.
