Anti-sway bar mod
Opinions please: One of the forum vendors is selling front and rear anti-sway bars matching those on the Z-51. If these are installed on a base model will there be a noticeable improvement in handling? Will they
tend to make the ride stiffer?
tend to make the ride stiffer?

Larger Sway bars don't typically make your ride stiffer they just allow less roll. This one of the best mods I did to my M5, in effect it helps with less than adequate spring rates.

On a C6, adding Z51 bars to a base suspension makes the ride rougher on uneven pavement and changes the cornering manners from understeer to slightly oversteer. And yes, it keeps the car flatter in high speed turns. I would be surprised if it was much different in a C7. Going to ZO7 bars on a base car would be even more of the above.

Pfadt Racing has been offering adjustable sway bars for C5's and C6's for a while, so I would imagine they'll be offering something for the C7 shortly. If you don't know what you should do with an adjustable sway bar to affect handling the way you want, they'll talk you through it. This will allow you to adjust the handling to what you like rather than accepting whatever the bars give you.
