I always thought Vettes were made in Bowling Green, KY and then shipped out for distribution. A guy told me that they are built in Bowling Green and then shipped to Detroit for the engine to be installed and then they are sent out for distribution. Any confirmation on what is really happening?

Don't buy anything from that guy. I witnessed the final product drive off the assembly line, go through dyno test, water test, and out the door to parking lot for delivery. All in Bowling Green.

Wow. I wonder how they "start them" and then drive them over some rattle strips to the alignment station and from there drive them to the water spray booth without an engine.
Don't believe anything this "guy" tells you as he clearly does not have any idea what he is talking about.
Just getting a little frustrated. Was told car was shipped on 2/17 and was at 4B00 Bayed. Seems like a month on the rails is a while and still not at the dealer? The 2015's will be in before mine gets here at this rate.

1) "A guy" is a card-carrying member of the Ignoranti. Vettes are 100% assembled in BG
2) It took around 5 weeks for my C7 to arrive in Spokane, WA after it left BG. Yes, by rail
