Default Engine dress up

I just put replaced my vacuum lines for my catch can on my C7 with stainless braided lines. A few hours and about 2 boxes of band aids and I think it looks pretty good.

I'm interested too in a catch can for my C7.
Which one did you get and did the seller provide good installation instructions?
I had one in my C6 and always found oil in it.

Great eye candy under the hood. Does the C7 really need a catch can?

Cheers.

Since I am running a super charger, I got the larger unit with dual check valves.

I did have some oil already in my intake before I put this on.

There are a few out there with very good feedback. The RX unit like I got, Elite Engineering has one with good reviews. Those units come anodized. The RX ones you can have painted to match the body color like I did.

I live 20 minutes from RX Performance, so I drove down there. Tracey the owner, really took the time to explain in great detail the procedure and technical side of things.

I went ECS, although A&A also makes a great kit. Just a matter of preference. If you go to the tech section there is a lot of info in there about the different kits. At 7lbs of boost here in FL I am around 570RWHP. I will be putting on the 8 psi plate this weekend and I should be right around 595 or so I would guess. The car is totally stock, I don't even have the NPP exhaust, as I am waiting on Borla to put out their system.

Its a totally different animal than stock. The car pulls so hard.

Right on!!! 570 whp with a bolt on kit My 07 LS2 S/C was 500 wph. Current Z is 520 wheel with cam/headers. Both of these cars burnt rubber. Now 570-590 with low boost, YESSSS.

What size AN hose did you use? I'm thinking you need to cut the stock hoses to get them to come off?
