Curious all those who had a TWP date, how long will it take for delivery to it's destination? Mine was produced 3/13/14
I was told by Colby,GM, that Z51 's are trucked instead of rail to it's destination. Don't know how true that statement is. He told me mine will be trucked all the way to PHX by the end of this week.

Incorrect about trucking Z51s if you are out west. AZ, CA and the rest of the west get them by train. Chevy doesn't differentiate by options, just location.
It took my Z51 about a week to get from Toledo to the Bay Area, and 2.5 days waiting to be unloaded at the rail yard and taken to my dealer 20 miles away.
2/21 it went to Toledo, arrived in Milpitas, CA on 3/2, unloaded 3/5.

Mine is bayed, was built on the 13th as well. My dealer is 5-6 hour drive from BG so I'm thinking it will take a day at most once they put it on a truck.
Well, folks, just talked and confirmed on my C7 that it is waiting to be loaded onto a truck carrier with a stop in Toledo and straight to my dealership. He estimated about a week with no interruptions. No rail for me. So both rail and truck carriers are used.
Steve, verified it

Sorry Steve but unless they've made some sort of special arrangement, it is NOT coming by truck. The "stop in Toledo" is the CSX rail head, where it will head to just outside of Chicago to be transferred to Union Pacific
GM ships ALL CORVETTES by rail now and have since the 1st of the year.
As I said, if I'm wrong...$100 goes to St Jude.....

Uh.... See my first reply about my car going to Toledo?
That's where the rail hub is that they ship them from.... By train. If it wasn't going on a train it would not be going out of its way to Toledo.

Dang, Ken, you sure know how to pop one's bubble. Well I don't know which is faster. I just have to wait and see how it gets here. Will advise.

Last Friday the GM site said it was shipped in Route... Today I spoke to Marissa , from our Forum Customer Service and she had said the car was still bayed.. Bummer! called the dealer he said sometime next week! This wait is KILLING me!!!!!!!! Hope you get yours soon!!!!
It's contagious! Mine built or finished on Thursday, Friday the cust svc link said shipped/en route and of course it never left BG.
Confirmed by Marissa and my north Texas dealer!
Who gets theirs first?????? Day and time of day contacted by the dealer that the truck/train ( lol) just got to their door!
Last one should donate $100.00 to St Jude just because!!
Keep your eyes peeled on this thread!!!!
