Well my wife and I are searching for info and I will call the dealership if I have to but they probably won't know anymore than anyone here does.
I've no idea what format, other than I just dragged and dropped my iTunes folders onto the card and stuck it in the car. Is there something I'm supposed to do first?
I had the same problem. Had a 32 sandisc cruiser and no music. Went to geeks at best buy and by downloading computer to sandisc the sandisc encrypted the songs. They cleared the sandisc and told me to drag the music files over to a local disc drive. If the sandisc is connected it will record while you are doing this. Then plug in the sandisc into the car, press media or talk using the steering wheel button and say artist or song.
I followed the instructions given in this thread and my 64G sandisc now works perfectly. The format took about an hour, but after that it was a piece of cake! =)
