This navigation screen is driving me crazy! Every print shows up. Smears and smudges are really testing my OCD.
Is there a screen protector, similar to what you can buy for your cell phone, that will prevents fingerprints, smears and smudges?

Help
Buy whoosh screen shine.it works great and takes the fingerprints off the screen. I bought mine on Amazon.com
I had an extra ipad screen protector that I cut down to size and stuck on there. Can't even see it. You can search for an oleophobic screen protector and that may help.
OP raises a good point, which i was just thinking about today. some problems have no simple answer. same with the new windows8 and every tv and pc in our house. another "problem" raised by some other poster discussed the dirt on the speaker screen and leather at the front of the drivers door from scuffing when entering or exiting. no real solution, just part of life. i wonder if you put oil on the screen if that would help--hows that for thinking out of the box.
Color me stupid. Believe it or not, some people (like me) really do have issues with fingerprints and smears on surfaces. Phone, microwave, fridge, windows...it is a major nuisance. Admittedly, it is an OCD I wish I didn't have.
Yes, I will seriously consider a stylus and other things people have suggested. I figured that there would be something out there already because there is a huge market for phone protectors.
Thanks for the info

The negative responses to the stylus idea are pretty funny! Yeah, I'm sure most drivers are too stupid to know when it would be appropriate to use a stylus and when it would be not. Appropriate: passenger uses it, driver uses it driving down down a highway, etc. Inappropriate: rush hour traffic, on the track, etc. It's the same stupidity that keeps people from using using voice activated commands instead of fingering their touch screens when their eyes should be fixed on the road situation when the road situation demands such attention. What was GM thinking when they gave us all so many distracting features on the new Corvette anyway!? They should have known how stupid we all are and just put a steering wheel and gear selector in our cars!
(Hopefully my fellow forum readers are smart enough to know I am speaking sarcastically above.)
