Top notch, err, no not quite. It is a significant upgrade from earlier models. It is no where near a Ferrari, or even an Aston Martin.
Nor should it be for a fraction of the price. However, it is every bit up to par with a BMW M3 or a MB C63... having owned both in the last 3 years I'm quite comfortable with that comment.

Exaggerate much? There is a resemblance to the wrap around style of the C4 and the handle but it is far different... to say it is almost the same is just silly IMO.

You're always gonna get some that can find fault in anything, especially from those that haven't even spent 10 minutes sitting in one. But the more I spend in mine the more I like it.

Agreed. Funny how people who don't own the car, don't like it and most likely will never buy it always seem to have the strongest and most vocal opinions
We should all just ignore them and they will eventually go away. It's no fun if no one engages with them.

I've never had the pleasure of sitting in an Aston or a Ferrari, but by that comparison, I'm sure you're correct. However, it's a huge leap forward from the C6, and in 3LT form, I think it holds it's own against similarly priced cars. Previously, the Corvette was known for having the best bang for the buck in spite of it's interior, and that's no longer the case.

From: Calgary, AB. There's a reason why white was the only color offered on every year Corvette. Proud Canadian German Jamaican!

it does everything I need it to do, it's not boring and ugly to look at, it's comfortable and purposeful, what more do you want? I'm sure you can get a hand to pop up from under the seat for those long lonely road trips if you wish but it'll cost you
The person who takes the time to create a corvette forum account, and voice their opinion on what they don't like about the car, before they go another direction and buy something else...
That person's opinion is more important than yours or mine... believe it or not.
Couldn't agree more. In many cases companies prosper or fail depending on their ability to hear and act on prospective customers' concerns.
I love the design and layout of the C6 and C7 interior. My only beef with the interior of almost all the American made sports cars these days is the lack of color selection. Almost all the Vettes, Mustangs, Camaros etc (unless special ordered) are a sea of black with a lot of plastic. I like a bit of contrasting color in the carpet or side door panels with a few subtle pieces of chrome trim here and there. To the Vettes credit, you can at least order some variety and I think the two tone packages look very nice. But good luck finding that on the majority of cars sitting on the dealers lots, wether new or used. Also wish the rear side cargo panels of the C7 coupe was carpeted like the C5&6.
I did not mind the c6 interior - it was very simple yes but did not thinked it look bad. What I did not enjoy during my 1 year of ownwership was how it held up. The seats looked 25 years old after 2 months (lots of wrinkle) the paint on the dials was rubbing off...I would say the fake leather round the shifter was real crap.
Now the C7 I nice...I think they should have not put plastic by the shifter - I think the fake carbon fiber in the c6 would have been nicer. I want to see how it hold up over time...I looked at 2014 at a dealership that had 50,000 plus miles on it and the seats and everything else looked OK.
