Kia and Hyundai don't do this. Well when you turn the engine off the radio turns off but you can still lower and raise the windows and if equipped the sunroof.
My wife owns a Kia and another friend owns a Sonata.
When I shut the ignition OFF,, the media is still playing music, UNTIL I open the door...???

I see that you have had plenty of help answering this, but I just wanted to take a moment and chime in with the crowd. This is normal on your vehicle, so you have nothing to worry about. Let us know if you have any further questions. Have a great day!

There's that pesky Owners Manual again. Just amazing what you can learn reading it. Of course, it is also pretty amazing how many thing you can't learn by reading it. - like the proper amount of oil to use on a Z51 (it's not the 10.3 quarts listed in the manual, it's 9.8).
