Best chrome protector?

Any idea what you guys think is the best chrome protector from salt and such? I'm looking for one that would last a long time to continued sea salt exposure.

How is Opti coat 2.0 removed if the need arises?

Me personally, I would be washing the washing the car daily anyways. So there wouldn't be any salt on them to corrode anything in the first place.

I've been following Glens guidelines on buying my materials so far. I have new wheels in the garage waiting for the car to arrive in the fall so I have a bit of time to seal them since I sold my C6. The diamond finish stuff does sound intriguing to me but I'm not sure I believe their claim it sticks to chrome. Mine are the chrome face wheels from a premium edition car so I'm not sure I'd risk applying some clear coat to the face. I think I might be doing opti2 on the face and using this over top of the barrels after I paint them Carbon Metallic though.
