The "Look" of this design seems to elicit strong passion either for or against, with not much in the middle. Kinda like black wheels vs chrome/silver or the Pontiac Aztec.

Interesting you should say that.... Tom Peters designed the ASStec, same guy who did the C6 and C7...
Interestingly enought, the Aztec was Pontiac's greatest success story at least from a development standpont.... but everyone knew it was ugly but afraid to tell the boss... The Emperor with no clothes scenario....

The gain in luggage space will be minimal unless you want to stack things up to the hatch/roof
