Thinking about a C7

Otherwise [BUYING STICK], you are buying first year, but most/all the bugs have been worked out in these 8 months and 20 some thousand cars produced.Car #1 would have been iffy. Car #26,000 should be care free.
You will love the difference. I traded in my '07 C6 and the 7 is a totally better car.
My biggest complaint is the quality of paint but sadly it seems like GM doesn't think it's a problem because they seem to not be bothering to address it.
The car itself runs like a champ. I just went on a long business trip. I left the car alone for one month with no battery charger attached (can't in my building). I got in it thinking it would be dead, pressed the starter button, and it started as if I drove it yesterday.
This is a darn good car.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I spent much of last weekend transferring CD music to a USB drive, since the C7 does not have a CD player. Hey, If I can figure out how to do that, anyone can!! Don't let all the new electronic stuff scare you away. Learn one thing at a time.
The C7 is a much more powerful and refined car than the C6. It's amazing, truly amazing!! I hope you decide to get one!
The C7 has been remarkably trouble-free for a 1st year model.

I am a current C6 owner and am thinking about a C7.
My question is this...
There is (at least there use to be) a perception that 1st year vehicles can be plagued with production start up issues.
Are any of you C7 owners experiencing any issues or have any complaints with these vehicles? Are there any common complaints?
I currently have a 1LT with the Z51 option. I have found a 2LT with lots of options.
Any comments would be appreciated.
2 - As for 1lt vs 2lt, i was in a similar situation. with the 2014s..
I wanted a completely Base 1lt Vert with automatic = $60345 msrp
Kerbeck only had one left and was offering a $3000 discount. Plus I had an additional $3000 rebate from my GM card = $54345.
All the other cars in the area were loaded up coupes (no discounts) and verts for minimum $65K up to $80K
If I hadn't been able to buy the Base 2014 vert I would have waited for a 2015 for a completely base coupe or vert with the A8. I do not like options except automatic and maybe NPP.
3 - As Snorman stated, A6 or A8 if you wait.
No question the A8 will be an improvement, just as the A6 was better than the A4 in reducing thise in-between flat spots in acceleration, but...
I only care about the 1/4 mile, and yes the A6 was better than the A4 in the 1/4, but even though the A8 shifts will be lightning fast, if another shift is needed in the 1/4 I don't know if that will improve 1/4 mile times over the A6....
The new A6 shift programming is much better than it was in the C6, I love it, no regrets on my 2014.
Plus, I needed immediate gratification

I think if we saw a true list of all the problems we would be surprised vs making each problem go away because its not on our specific car.
Just the problems listed on this board are a bit more than I'd like to see.
