Is this the bright Inferno orange or the copper looking orange?

Thats not the point. Why compromise on a performance car? A Corvette is all about performance and style, therefore, It should not compromise on its performance or style.

I wonder the same thing. I'm starting to not buy that story at this point. It's hard to believe GM has been struggling to get parts for Z51's for this long.

Yeah that Non Z51 Vette is really a worthless piece of crap! It takes .2 seconds longer from 0- 60MPH , stops 6 feet longer from 60 to 0 and only does 1.0g on the skid pad vs. 1.03g as the mighty Z51

LOL.... I did not qualify for a Z51 because of "pecker" measurement.

I really really really wish they would put all the options and pricing online for the ZO6. If its in the "sanity range" thats the way I want to go.

What are you Z-51 clowns going to do when the Z06 comes out?

Your statement is just sad and it is devisive. When the Z-06 comes out, will your precious Z-51 options packaged car then be worthless? I mean, gosh, it wont be the fastest any more, you must have a "poser" corvette....Optioned as a Z-06 "wanna-be" without the true Corvette motor.

Well we have seen all the details about the 2015, so how the heck long do we have to wait to see a sample of the DSOM paint, the cost and when it will be available?

I can justify only so much money on a new Vette. So I am caught between a 1LT Z51 or a 2LT. I go back and forth daily, make that hourly. Each has its merits, each are great cars. But isn't nice that I get to choose what works for me best.

Depends on what you are after.

I'd pick the 2LT for the HUD myself. You can always add performance parts later when you budget allows for it IMO.

That's kind of the way I'm leaning. After having 3LT on my C6 I know I would miss that level of comfort and technology. Of course it gets worse:

Color choice was AW now I want to see the Shark Grey.
Standard vs automatic. I have automatic, always wanted it to be standard. But the wife says I'll get sick of shifting. Been fifteen years sinced my last standard.

Of course I am overthinking it. Which I will do until I buy one.

Well first thing that comes to mind is the Z brakes are slotted which is easy to spot if stopped, also the air dam in the front is split (In front of wheels only) where non Z is solid.

On another note, I was at the dealers today and they had their booklets with 2015 paint samples in it, shark gray was there, but Datona Sunrise Orange was not so I assume it was a last minute thoght on GMs part and did not make the current sample book. Hope it's close to Atomic (The best Orange) IMHO.

My dealer will be installing the Z51 sway bars prior to delivery. I'll drive it for awhile and then decide if I want to add some aftermarket high performance shocks.

Sounds like a good plan. It will be interesting to see how the new sway bars work with the stock non-Z51 shocks.
