Lowering on stock bolts makes the car look like nothing happened compared to lowering bolts or going past what the factory lets you. Really transforms the look.

My car scrapes the air dam with the factory setup. I would hate to have it lower. Might look good at the loss of driving enjoyment.

The Penske coilovers suggest lowering of 1.5" but hopefully they can lower just 1":

http://shop.penskeshocks.com/CORVETTE-C7/

Also, according to what the website says, the coilover option shouldn't be available with the single-adjustable shocks.

I think I would just get the Hyperco "track" or "T1" leaf springs and lower with the lowering bolts about 3/4". However, the Hyperco leaf springs for the C7 are not yet available.

Or with a base C7, put the Z51 springs on and lower the 3/4" that the lowering bolts allow
.

Lowered all my c5s and my c6. My buddy who bought my c6 raised her immediately so he was better able to drive around his town.

Not planning to lower my c7. I'm rather enjoying driving around without scraping.

FYI I've spent more time on checking fitment with Phoenix Performance and we've revised the lengths so that you only have to lower the car 1" for coilovers.

Lowering via stock bolts can help deter a stranger from fisting your gap... unless their phist is small.
