I'm keeping my C3 which I've had for 23 yrs. I'm hoping for a long term relationship with this one too.

That's what I said about my C5, and I still have her 15 years later. It's like we are married.

I'm eyeing the C7, though, and the old girl is getting jealous.

Most cars I get I keep about 3-4 years. I've had my C5 now for almost 5 years and had my previous C5 for 7.5 years. When I get a C7, I would anticipate keeping it for 5-6 years, depending on how it holds up and what comes out after I get one.

I kept my last sports car (a 3000GT), which I bought new, for 17 years...just sold it to clear garage space for the C7.

The guy who bought it (it was in great shape) took one look at my C7 and said "I'll be back in 17 years to buy that one!"

Only thing I'd be trading a C7 Stingray for is a C7Z06.. or C8!

I try to keep my cars 2-3 years or until a lot of minor problems pop up. I kept my 2005 for 7 years, though. So far my C7 is a keeper, 3300 miles and no problems. Maybe I'll keep it until GM offers another Green...

I always keep my cars until they stop running. Just donated the 89 Honda only to make room for the C7. Had to donate the 96 Caravan at the same time due to a blown engine. Still have my 93 and 95 Hondas. Plan to keep the C7 (and my 76 C3) until I die. Then my wife can decide what to do with it.

[QUOTE=Silverblue;1587085953]Of course I am talking about the car...

I never keep a car more than 2 years (NEVER), but this C7 is different, WAY different. If I do not wreck her (heaven forbid), or she does not turn into a lemon (all fingers & toes crossed), I believe I have finally found the automobile I will still own YEARS from now. She is not only a work of art, but is about as perfect as a sports car gets (for me anyway)....

So, how long do you think you will keep yours?[/

I plan to keep my new C7 until I die and I plan to keep my 2020 or 2021 (or whatever) C8 until I die and so on and so on.
