I have the jack in the included picture and as you can tell, it's not very C7 puck friendly. The depth of the lifting "circle" is 3/4" while my pucks on the bottom of my vette are only about 1/4". I'm looking for ideas on how to either fill in the "hole" or where to get a replacement flat head so I can use the jack on my C7. Thanks!!
My jack looks exactly like that. Take the silly round thing off and lift with the plain flat part. I do it all the time! It also lets you get under the car easier! Unscrew the bolt and sit that piece in the corner. You don't need it and it'll lift just fine.
If I understand you; use a hole saw to cut out a "circle of wood to fit in the jack. Or use a larger hockey puck for the car to lift with like we did on the C6's.
I thought about seeing if I could flip the cup over or removing it altogether but the hex hole in the bolt is 3/8" wide. I don't think I've ever seen an allen wrench that big! Guess it's time to hit the hardware store and see what they have. Thanks!

A flat bladed screwdriver might work instead of the large allen wrench.
Putting the puck on the jack without the cradle will work, but if you lift the car on just one side, be careful it does not slide off the jack. This happened to a friend and it ruined the rocker panel.
My jack has a rubber cover for the cradle, and I have never had it slip.
It might be safer just to invest in thicker jacking pucks.
I found I had a 3/8" hex socket and was able to take the cup off the jack and just use the flat surface. Thanks!
P.S. I'm thinking of spraying the flat part of the jack with some of that stuff used to line truck beds for anti-slip properties. Think that would be beneficial?
I bought the aluminum one from Harbor Freight for $59.00. It is flat with rubber padding.[/QUOTE]
Agree the rubber pad helps. I also use 2 Harbor Freight low profile aluminum jacks with roller front wheel and caster rear wheels. I used jack pads that fit in the shipping slots. Still must be sure the rear caster wheels are facing properly so as you lift the Jack moves in since the pad does move front to back somewhat as it’s lifted. Also the surface must allow in to move in.

I would put the cup back on and buy a $3 hockey puck to place in it. Works on both the front and rear sides of the car. Before you lift the jack up, just make sure the puck is clear of the body panel. I have the same type jack and works great.
