I got a quote from another installer closer to the NCM that was about what you got quoted. Message up the XPel rep on here and ask for recommended installers in your area.

By the way, good choice on doing the partial hood / fenders, the shape of the car really doesn't require the full hood / fender coverage, especially if you've got a set of the GM splash guards installed (which I highly recommend).
Who is the Xpel rep here?

My installer canceled last night and is now coming this Sunday. $1500.00 for full front end, mirrors, rockers, & door cups. Said he needs at least 4 hours. Claims to have done 8 to 12 C7's.

He was highly recommended by Xpel as the best in the area, whether installing Xpel or some other film.

I paid $850 and included top of the Z51 wing and edge of the door sill. Installer had it 24 hours...

Great advice and thanks.

To find the contact of any forum vendor, click on the "SPONSORS" menu item. Find the vendor (there are several ways to filter). The forum contact will be listed at the top of the vendor display next to "Vendor listing is managed by:". In this case, it is XPEL Technologies.

Thanks,

John,

That seems like a very fair price. The average rate for a FULL Front end: entire hood, front fenders, front bumper, mirrors and usually headlights is anywhere from $1,500 to $2,000 depending on labor rates and installer experience. Needing the car overnight is also completely normal. Giving the film time to cure/adhere over night is important. This way the installer can come back the next morning to check the edges, wrap edges, and inspect for error.

If you're unsure still, ask to see pictures of the installers work. Check the edges, kit alignment, etc... This will help explain the extra time. A lot of quality installers ask for more time to get the job done properly.
