Hundreds of them at that! I noticed when I first got my car. There was a thread on that subject last year too. A nice design detail compared to the typical dots on most similar rear windows.

Very nice evidence of attention to detail on the design. By the way, according to the designers, I was the first consumer to notice these when I asked about them at the NCM Bash last year.
