Default 1st parade

Took the C7 on its first parade. (95 degree weather and strong sun.) I watched the oil temp the whole way and it didn't budge more than a couple degrees over 200. The route was about 3-4 miles and I bet the average speed was 5 mph or less. Also I do run a front plate on an aero panel and I ran the air conditioner on max the whole way. So all-in-all the C7 handled the heat just fine.

There were over 50 corvettes. Two local Corvette Clubs participate each year and it seems to grow every year. But only 5 C7s, white, red, Crystal red, Cyber grey and my LRG.

I run in this event every year and I NEVER heard so many "nice car" and "Love the color" comments with either of my C6s. C7s are apparently a big hit with the spectators (and participants too, for that matter) and so is Green!

that you got to be in the parade - it's a fun time doing those events. But I would hope that there would not be any overheating problems with a brand new car.

Very cool story, can't wait to run a few parades again. It's been years!

Happy 4th of July!
