Has anyone noticed how hot the trunk area gets on the convertible? Is there anything that could be done about it? Factory/design issue? Remedy?

Thanks

Sidepipes??

Seriously, the mufflers are just below. Maybe some thermal/sound insulation.

It does get pretty toasty back there. I drove for 4 straight days for 8 hours with the trunk filled and it wasn't really a problem. Stuff is warmed but not over heated.

If you put any grocerys back there, they would be precooked for you by the time you got home. I know, its not a grocery getter....but hey, sometimes you have too... Just seems that a heat shield should have been installed to minimize the heat...

Yea...but I don't drink and the chance of fitting a decent size cooler in that trunk is pretty slim.... Just thought they would have installed a better heat shield and maybe better insulation..
