2.5LT Mod
I plan on buying and installing the Kalahari dash trim piece (the swoosh that starts at the console and swoopes accros the dash, but to finish off the look I need that small section on the drivers door.
Two questions:
1. Does anyone have that PN (Kalahari)
2. Does that piece just pop on/off like the dash piece

Hey Tom, I looked at a 3LT car...not sure how the little piece that runs into the door will look since that part of your door will be black... you might want to take a look at a 3LT car before ordering the small piece...

I took a peek at a car at a dealer, but the door was locked so I couldn't get in and sit behind the wheel. I'm told the door panel must be removed to change that piece out. But I have some time to figure this out. But adding that main piece really dressed up a 2LT interior. Search for "2.5LT MOD" for the thread that started this.

My concern would be that by adding the door strip to the 2LT mod, you will have a strip of kalahari on the upper part of the drivers door, and the corresponding piece of the passenger door will be black.... that would drive my OCD sense of symmetry totally crazy....

Yes, its a complete KIT. Plug and Play as they say. Dealer is installing it for me as part of my PDI, and the splash guards too. Nice gift from my dealer even after selling me the car at CU pricing.
