Where are the settings track mode for launch control etc? Seen some mention the sub menus.
Thanks
launch control mode:
Correct me if im wrong... drivving mode to track. double tap traction control to engage competetive drive mode. with clutch in and 1st gear( manual 7 speed) press the gas pedal to the floor completly and hold it there. rpms should hold around 4k. when ready to take off, release clutch quickly while keeping the gas pinned to the floor... traction contol should take care of the rest. shift accordingly after that...

I know I should wade thru the manual to understand Launch Control for an Auto, but can someone explain how to do it simply?
so i was reading and ,whats the diff. in just reving and dumping the clutch ? l.c. only controls wheel spin .i was thinking it was like a lock out control on the trans.that would dump full power to the r.wheels on release . HUMM
SO..on the a6 hold your foot on the brake ,rev to 4k let off brake ? or just floor it when the light turns green ? good vid. but jumped right over that part LOL

On my auto, I hold the brake and floor the gas quickly. When you're ready to go, just let off the brake. Make sure T/C is on or you will start doing a burnout.

Hold down the brake while gas pedal is to the floor? Won't that muck up the automatic transmission and wreak havoc on the brakes?
